ESG stands for Environmental, Social and Governance and refers to an organisation's impact on the environment, its relationships with employees, customers and suppliers, and the integrity of its leadership and decision-making.

In essence, ESG is an ethical framework employed by companies to ensure they are treating the environment and their employees responsibly.

Sustainability

Investing in art is a highly effective way of fulfilling the ESG criteria.

At Eden Sculpture, we pride ourselves on our sustainable approach, working with artists who use recycled materials, creating works designed to last for generations rather than contribute to short-term consumption.

Our artists' rejection of trends further cements their work as long-term investment pieces, tailored to the clients needs and desires rather than fast consumption.

By offering an ongoing maintenance service, sculptures are cared for and preserved over time, reducing the need for replacement and minimising environmental impact.

Wellbeing

Art holds a much overlooked power to improve wellbeing. A study from 2025* recorded empirical evidence that demonstrates “art as a community-connecting tool through emotional and cognitive engagement.” The study also reveals that art makes viewers feel more connected to the space they inhabit.

Eden specialises in outdoor sculpture, encouraging people to spend time in shared outdoor environments. In an increasingly digital world, fostering meaningful connections with physical spaces is more important than ever.

Large scale art projects also offer organisations the opportunity to engage with local artists, support cultural expression and reflect a diverse range of voices and identities. These projects encourage meaningful dialogue and generate inclusivity.

Invest in Art. Reap the Rewards.

From a governance and brand values standpoint, public sculpture communicates purpose and transparency. Supporting artists and cultural initiatives shows ethical investment in the creative economy and long-term thinking rather than short-term marketing. By working with Eden, we can create projects that wholly embody an organisation's values, reinforcing trust and reputation through authentic cultural contribution.

In 2026, we are really excited at the prospect of working with more organisations on sculpture commissions, who share our firm belief in the power of sculpture to transform spaces.
