ABOUT

Eden Sculpture is an independent consultancy specialising in the commissioning, procurement, and installation of outdoor sculpture for private gardens and public spaces.

Eden Sculpture - Giles Rayner

THE POWER OF SCULPTURE

At Eden Sculpture, we believe sculpture enhances both landscapes and lives. It is never just seen, but lived with: commanding attention, inviting reflection, and shifting with light and season. In doing so, it becomes part of its surroundings - and part of the lives and memories of those who encounter it.

Founded by Clare Bonnet and David Nabarro, Eden Sculpture is a trusted partner in delivering site-responsive sculpture commissions across the UK and internationally. We support clients through every stage - from commissioning and planning to procurement, installation, and aftercare - combining fine art expertise with commercial acumen to ensure each project is realised with integrity and precision.

private commissions

Commissioning a sculpture for your home or garden is a deeply personal process. We provide discreet and expert guidance throughout - from selecting the right artist to overseeing installation. Each commission is site-specific and tailored to the space it inhabits. We take on a limited number of commissions each year to ensure exceptional collaboration and care.

Public Art & Installations

We partner with local authorities, developers, and landscape architects to deliver site-specific public artworks. Our role covers procurement, artist sourcing, planning, and technical coordination. We understand the demands of public space - access, visibility, durability, and community relevance - and shape commissions that truly integrate with place.

Giles’s work combines energy, intrigue, and aesthetic beauty through the integration of water and form. Often on a significant scale, his sculptures balance movement with stillness, designed to harmonise timelessly with surrounding architecture and landscape. Inspired by natural forms, his pieces capture the senses with drama or tranquillity, always underscored by elegance.

Contemporary Water Sculptures:

Copper / Bronze / Stainless Steel / Water Integration

Alice’s work frequently meditates on change, fragility and the intersection between human life and natural systems. Her projects often respond to environmental themes, exploring tipping points, fractures, and transformations in the landscape.

Alice Cunningham

Stone Carving & Environmental Art:

Marble / Limestone / Portland Stone

Growing up on a working farm on Dartmoor instilled in Hamish a reverence for materials and permanence. His work frequently explores symmetry, fragility and hidden geometry, often striving to reveal the unseen core of stone through light and form.

Hamish Holman

Geometric Stone Sculptures:

Stone / Marble / Limestone / Granite

Jilly draws inspiration directly from the organic qualities of wood. Years spent living in Nigeria also broadened her practice, introducing influences from African carving traditions and textiles. She describes the warmth, grain, and embodied life of ancient trees as a constant source of wonder and inspiration, often imparting a sense of tranquillity to her sculpted forms.

Jilly Sutton

Figurative / Abstract:

Wood carving / Bronze

Karen’s work is rooted in an interest in how light interacts with material surfaces, producing subtle shifts in colour, texture and depth. Her reflective sculptures encourage moments of pause, inviting viewers to notice changes in perception and the world around them.

Karen Browning

Reflective / Optical Sculptures:

Glass / Light / Illumination

Thomas is influenced by natural geometry and principles such as the Fibonacci sequence, using them to create sculpture that reflects beauty, balance and perfection. His works carry echoes of modernist masters including Barbara Hepworth, Henry Moore and Constantin Brancusi, while retaining a contemporary clarity of form.

FEATURED SCULPTURES

Tectonic

solid copper, 2024

A solid copper, multi-plated globe created as the centre piece for a newly designed garden in Cambridgeshire. Our client needed a sculpture with full visual impact that could be easily maintained in an area with significant leaf fall from overhanging trees.  The piece functions beautifully both with and without water flow, offering year-round presence and adaptability to seasonal changes.

Apollo

brass unique, stainless steel base set

Inspired by Fibonacci sequences and threaded tension, this brushed brass form rises from a Carrara marble base.  A contemporary abstract form, dynamic from every angle. While sealed brass makes outdoor display possible, it will require care to prevent tarnish. The piece shown was a commission, but similar works can be made to order.

Good Vibrations

portland limestone, 2024

Good Vibrations springs from the unknown - a sculptural cube transformed by interconnecting forms that shift appearance as you move around it. Light filters through the intricacies of the stone, revealing delicacy and strength in equal measure. A work of geometry and fluidity, it engages both with its material and the space around it, offering an ever-changing presence.

Balance 2

italian marble, 2025

Balance, 2 explores tension and harmony in space. The work unites form and void, catching light and shadow as the viewer moves around it. Its textured surface responds to seasonal change, making it as striking in midday sun as in twilight - a contemplative piece that anchors its environment while inviting possibility.

SUSTAINABILITY

Creating lasting art while
protecting OUR
environment

Sustainability is a core commitment of our practice. We actively collaborate with sculptors who prioritise using off-cuts and excess raw materials, turning potential waste into beautiful, meaningful artworks. Our partnerships extend to engineers who uphold ethical supply chains, ensuring materials are responsibly sourced and produced. For exhibition work, we champion sustainability by designing stands and displays with reuse and longevity in mind, minimising environmental impact through thoughtful material choices and construction methods. Eden Sculpture strives for creative excellence whilst supporting a more sustainable approach for the arts sector.
