The Eden Story

“There is a magic in the moment a person falls in love with an artwork – I have built everything around that.”

When chief executive, Clare Bonnet, sold her first painting, she witnessed something she had never before anticipated: a Client standing before a work of art, visibly transformed. That sense of wonder has never left her. Drawing on nearly two decades of experience in fine art sales, artist management and art curation, Clare founded Eden Sculpture, an art consultancy specialising in the procurement, commissioning, installation and maintenance of outdoor sculpture.
Clare thinks of art as a form of alchemy – an Artist's capacity to transform vision into something tangible, solid and permanent. In an increasingly automated and disconnected world, she believes that hand-crafted fine art objects are the antidote. Sculpture, above all, interrupts the ever-smoothed rhythms of our daily lives. It takes up space, commands our attention and physically engages us. That is exactly why we specialise in outdoor sculpture.

In partnership with Clare as Co-Founder and Executive Director is David Nabarro, whose background in investment and experience as an art collector gives him an in-depth understanding of the needs and expectations of Eden Sculpture’s Clients. Together, they lead the Cotswold based consultancy whose reach extends across private estates, public spaces and corporate collections throughout Europe and beyond.
Eden Sculpture is built around a people-first philosophy. We meet with every Client and prefer to visit every proposed installation site in person, in order to have a genuine understanding of the space and the life lived around it. We support both Clients and Artists with our expertise and curatorial vision, from first consultation to final installation.
The sculptures we commission are realised in high-quality, sustainable materials by Artists who are masters of their craft. Many of the makers we work with engage with ancient traditions, such as stone and wood carving and bronze casting, reinterpreting and innovating them to produce sculpture that is at once timeless, singular and visually arresting.
And our dedicated maintenance service bolsters our sustainable approach, ensuring that each work, once installed, is protected and properly cared for across the years. You can find out more about this on our Services page.
